Developer Story

Sea Wolf was designed by Dave Nutting Associates and released by Midway in 1976. It was based on an earlier electromechanical sea-battle game and updated it with video graphics. Players looked through a periscope viewer to fire torpedoes at moving ships. Sea Wolf was a massive commercial hit, selling over 10,000 units and becoming one of the best-selling arcade games of 1976.
